Played in all but one game and started 78 times en route to averaging 16.8 points, a team-high 5.4 assists, a career-high 4.1 rebounds and 1.53 steals in 37.3 minutes per game...ranked 35th in the league in ppg, 18th in apg, 16th in spg and 13th in 3-pointers made (146)...recorded five double-doubles...scored 20 or more points 30 times...hit three or more 3-pointers in a game 24 times...flirted with a triple-double while posting 23 points, a season-high tying 9 rebounds and 9 assists vs. Orlando (2/28/04)...scored a season-high 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting vs. New Jersey (4/12/04).

2002-03:
With the addition of Glenn Robinson and the scoring he brought to the lineup, Terry became more of an adept passer as evidenced by his career-high 7.4 assists • That's not to imply he was holding back offensively, because the 6-2 speedster's 17.2 points a night was the third-highest on the team • JT made 160 three-pointers on the year, the fifth-highest total in team history and seventh-best in the NBA last year • Showing more balance than ever before, he recorded his first career triple-double in a February 28 win at Chicago • Terry’s nice night ended with 23 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds • He became the third Atlanta player to finish the season with 600 assists - joining Glenn “Doc” Rivers and Mookie Blaylock as the only players to accomplish that feat • He achieved that mark in the season’s final game at New Orleans when he needed all eight of his assists to reach that level • Terry also ended the year with 502 career three-pointers, passing Dominique Wilkins for third place on the all-time team chart • Not only was he among the league leaders in triples, he was tied for 39th place in scoring, tied for sixth in assists, sixth-best in FT percentage and tied for 20th in steals • Terry was tops on the Hawks’ season lists in FT%, 3FG%, assists and steals • He missed one game due to injury (a right hip contusion) • On the season, JT recorded 17.2 ppg, 7.4 apg, 3.4 rpg and 1.6 spg (.428 FG%, .371 3FG%, .887 FT%) • He had 20 double-doubles (t25th in the NBA) and dished out a career-high 16 assists against the Lakers (March 25) • Unfortunately for him, his most productive month came at the end when he registered 20.6 ppg in April and made .508 of his FG attempts • SEASON HIGHS: 33 pts v/Hou (1/10), 10 rebs @Chic (2/28), 16 assts v/LAL (3/25), 6 stls @NJ (12/3), 2 blks v/Mia (11/29), 52 mins @Det (3/26), 13 FGM v/Hou (1/10), 6 3FGM @Utah (11/8), 12 FTM v/Mia (11/29).

Began the season as the starter at shooting guard and made the permanent switch to the point in January ‘03 • That month, Terry turned in his best performance of the year with averages of 21.3 ppg, 5.3 apg and 3.9 rpg, while shooting 44.6 FG% • On Jan. 15, he almost reached the half-century mark when he ripped the nets for 46 points against Dallas • Terry was second on the team in scoring at 19.3 ppg (t25th in the NBA) and led Hawks in FT% (.835), steals (1.9 spg, t10th in NBA) and assists (5.7 apg, t17th in NBA) • He scored 40 points or more twice, 30 or more (7x), 20 or more (31x) and 10 or more (70x).

2000-01:
Enjoyed a true breakout season, as he upped his averages by 11.6 ppg, 0.6 apg, 1.3 rpg and 0.2 spg from his rookie campaign ... Only Hawk to play in all 82 games ... Led team in scoring, and his 19.7 ppg was the most by a Hawk since Steve Smith's 20.1 ppg in 1997-98 ... After moving to shooting guard 12 games into the season, became a dangerous outside scoring threat, to go along with his quick slashing to the basket ... Over last 32 games, averaged 21.6 ppg, hitting .434 3FGs ... Played in Schick Rookie Challenge as part of the winning sophomore team during NBA All-Star Weekend on Feb. 10 ... Member of U.S. squad in 2001 Goodwill Games in Australia ... Scored 10 or more pts (28x), 20 or more (28x) and 30 or more (14x) ... Had 10 or more assts (3x) ... Upon averaging 8.1 points, 4.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game (.415 FGs, .293 3FGs, .807 FTs) over 81 contests in his rookie season, Terry was named to the NBA All-Rookie second team ... Became the first Hawk since Stacey Augmon in 1992 to be named to the first or second team All-Rookie squad ... Had an opportunity to learn on the job, and improved as his minutes increased and as the season progressed ... Started the final 27 games of the season, averaging 10.6 points and 7.0 assists ... Finished the season ranked 32nd in the NBA in assists (a team-leading 4.3 apg) ... Scored 20 points or more on three occasions, and 10 or more 31 times ... Dished out 10 or more assists on six occasions ... Posted five double-doubles (pts/assts) and led the team in scoring in six outings and assists 36 times ... Arizona's all-time leader in steals, Jason Terry was picked on the first round of the 1999 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, the 10th overall selection ... Finished his college career with 245 steals ... Only player in Arizona history to collect more than 1,000 career points and 200 career steals ... Capped his senior year by being named: First Team All-America by AP; National Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated, CBS/Chevrolet and Rawlings/Basketball Times; and Pac-10 Player of the Year ... First Pac-10 player to lead the conference in scoring (21.9 ppg), assists (5.5 apg) and steals (2.8) since Gary Payton in 1988-89.
